Human Dental Pulp Derived Mesenchymal stem cells

Mesenchymal Stem cells derived from dental pulp are considered extremely potent cells with the ability to generate highly calcified tissue. Due their ability to form minieralised colonies, extracellular matrices and dentin type structures they are being researched for othopedic and oral reconstruction purposes. They can also be used in IVD for drug screening purposes.
