Description
The natural killer cells, also commonly known as the NK cells are the lymphocytes or the fighter cells of the immune system; which are primarily recruited by the body as the host defense system. Due to their immune regulatory properties, they are of special interest to researchers as immuno-oncology tools, as these cells can especially target cancer cells or tumor cells and destroy them. Lot of research is currently going on to study ways to inhibit these cells to reduce transplant rejection and failure during IVF.
Human Bone Marrow-Derived NK cells are obtained from the bone marrow of humans, after informed consent. The NK cells are selected from the mononuclear cell fraction of bone marrow either or from the entire bone marrow through the negative immunomagnetic selection method and are characterized for the presence of CD56 cell surface markers.
The Kosheeka Human Bone Marrow-Derived NK cells are positive for CD 56 and CD16 markers and are negative for CD3. The Kosheeka offers an option of choosing your own product depending upon your study requirements.
